Genesis Coupes are well known for body ground issues. The ground kits adds extra grounds to your ECU, Fuel Injectors, Starter and Engine Block Ground. The ECU relies on voltage input from sensors to properly run the engine, if you have voltage drop from bad grounds the ECU could get improper voltage from the sensors and take away some power. Your injectors NEED proper voltage to spray at the exact right time, if your injectors are getting improper voltage it can cause them to open up a couple milliseconds late and make hitting target AFR’s during tuning a little more difficult.
