The Most Sought-After Intake for BK2 3.8 - Now In Stock!
JAC's legendary True Cold Air Intake for 2013-2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8L - back and better than ever! Unlike short ram intakes that suck hot engine bay air, this TRUE cold air system draws cooler ambient air from outside the engine bay near the fog lights. Includes premium K&N air filter for maximum airflow. No more waiting - in stock and ready to ship!
🎯 Why "TRUE" Cold Air Matters
The Problem with Short Ram Intakes:
- Suck hot air from engine bay (150°F+)
- Hot air = less dense = less oxygen = less power
- Heat soak reduces performance
- Minimal real-world gains
The JAC True Cold Air Advantage:
- Draws air from outside engine bay - Near fog lights where air is cooler
- Cooler air = denser air - More oxygen per intake stroke
- More oxygen = more power - Real, measurable gains
- Consistent performance - No heat soak issues
🚀 Performance Gains
- +8-12 HP - Cooler, denser air makes real power
- +8-10 ft-lbs torque - Better mid-range pull
- Improved throttle response - Engine breathes easier
- Aggressive intake sound - Hear your V6 breathe
- Better fuel economy - More efficient combustion (when driven normally)
- Cooler intake temps - 20-40°F cooler than short ram

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What makes this "true" cold air vs other intakes?
A: This draws air from outside the engine bay near the fog lights where temps are 20-40°F cooler. Short ram intakes suck hot engine bay air, reducing performance.
Q: How much power will I gain?
A: Expect +8-12 HP and +8-10 ft-lbs torque. Cooler, denser air makes real, measurable power gains.
Q: Do I have to remove the washer reservoir?
A: Yes, the washer reservoir must be removed to fit the true cold air piping. This is necessary for the intake to draw from outside the engine bay.
Q: Will this work on my 2010-2012 BK1?
A: No, this is specifically designed for 2013-2016 BK2 models only. BK1 has different engine bay layout.
Q: Is the K&N filter washable and reusable?
A: Yes! K&N filters are washable and reusable. Clean and re-oil every 50,000 miles for lifetime use.
Q: Will this throw a check engine light?
A: No, this intake works with the stock MAF sensor and will not cause check engine lights.
Q: How does this sound?
A: Aggressive intake sound - you'll hear your V6 breathe, especially under acceleration. Not obnoxiously loud, but definitely noticeable.
Q: Can I install this myself?
A: If you're mechanically inclined with basic tools, yes. Takes 2-3 hours. Professional installation recommended for best results.
Q: Will this void my warranty?
A: Intakes typically don't void warranty, but check with your dealer. Installation is reversible if needed.
