We came back swinging for the 2015 SEMA show. This year we took the 1.6 Gamma Engine in the Hyundai Veloster Turbo and churned out 500 horsepower. A custom built engine with Forged internals, custom sidewinder manifold holding a GTX3582R Turbo from Garrett. This car was far from your ordinary Veloster Turbo.
Partnering up with SoCalGarageworks for the Carbon Fiber Widebody Fenders and Seibon came in clutch with their Carbon Fiber Hood and Rear Hatch. We then had the car sprayed in McLaren Carbon Black paint using BASF RM paint. APR supplied us with the front splitter to finished up the carbon accents on the car.
We then worked with BC racing to lower the car on their BR series coilovers and SSR wheels custom built a set of TF1 Wheels for us to fit our Black and Red Color Scheme. We then wrapped the beautiful wheels in Toyo R888 tires to make sure the car can put down all the power it was making.
Pierce Motorsports Roll Cage and numerous other chassis braces held the vehicle together around corners and gave the vehicle a very solid feel around corners when we took the vehicle around the Hyundai's Proving Grounds in California City, CA.
Interior was outfitted with a custom sound system from Rockford Fosgate and Sabelt Racing Seats, Harnesses and steering wheel.
Tanabe's Revel Gauges sat up top of the dash to display important data and completed the interior of the vehicle.
This ground breaking build was shown off at the Hyundai Motors of America's booth at the 2015 SEMA show. It was yet another masterpiece from BTR that really pushed the Korean platform to a new level. This car was also featured in the Racing Rivals mobile game along with our Genesis Coupe build from 2014 SEMA show.
